Backed by major chewing gum manufacturers, the initiative aims to both clean up historic gum stains and change public behaviour to encourage responsible disposal.
Now, local authorities have a fresh opportunity to claim grant funding of up to £27,500 to invest in high-performance gum removal equipment and ensure their streets stay spotless.
